Servant of God Louis SavinienDupuis,founded the Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate Heart of Mary Congregation (FIHM) on the 16th of October 1844. He evinced his lofty conviction in effectuating change in the society through empowerment of women by virtue of education. The FIHM sisters who landed on the Indian soil 177 years ago embarked on a missionary career of liberating women from illiteracy and social injustice through the invincible weapon of education.
The Fatima Nursery and Primary school witnessed its foundation in 1977 with 92 students. The school then grew in leaps and bounds to attain the present stature. Our Lady of Fatima, the Patroness, has been greatly faithful and benevolent in protecting and shepherding the earnest and innocent minds entrusted to her care.Read more
