The Servant of God Louis Savinien Dupius, MEP, Who is the founder of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, sowed the small seed aiming at liberating women illiteracy and social injustices. The dream he envisioned transcended into a reality with his venture in establishing the formal school   for girls in Pondicherry, way back in 1844. Since then it has tremendously grown with vigour, yielding fruits in Evangelization, Pastoral and Medical ministries and Educational institutions in different parts of the world.
